I believe it takes great courage to stand in front of a camera and be who you are. My first priority is empowering you to show up as yourself, because portraying people authentically and honestly is at the core of my work.

I’m a filmmaker and photographer based in Brooklyn, New York, born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas. I grew up barefooted and wide-eyed, and the lush nature of home runs through the veins of my work no matter where I am. I’m an MFA Candidate at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Graduate Film, as well as a narrative shorts programmer for Slamdance Film Festival. My short films have shown at many festivals around the country including Slamdance Film Festival, New Orleans Film Festival, and Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival. Along with filmmaking, I’ve been working as a photographer for over 9 years, and now specialize in documentary and editorial photography.

I’m inspired by the beauty of nature, the connection and oneness of each of us to each other, hands that hold tight, stolen glances, rain on pavement, children running wild, and big, deep, love that can’t be explained or grasped in any other way but by capturing the fleeting moment that was and is and went by faster than you ever thought it would - this is the magic that keeps me fascinated still.

I can’t wait to find that unique and beautiful thing about you and yours. Thanks for trusting me.

Hello, I’m Claire
